디지털 자산으로 확장하는 생성형 파사드 시스템.
DDP Facade NFT는 건축적 사고와 생성 원리를 디지털 자산으로 치환하는 실험적인 프로젝트입니다. 기하학, 곡률, 천공 패턴의 변화를 제어하는 계산적 워크플로를 구축하여, 단일한 시스템 안에서 수천 개의 고유한 파사드 이미지를 자동으로 생산하는 생성형 건축 자산 모델을 제안합니다.
NFT 생태계는 대규모의 고유한 디지털 자산을 필요로 합니다. 본 프로젝트는 개별 이미지를 수작업으로 제작하는 대신, 건축의 설계 논리와 생성 원리를 활용하여 방대한 디지털 컬렉션을 생산할 수 있는 방법을 탐구했습니다.
Grasshopper를 기반으로 개발된 생성 시스템은 패널의 곡률, 천공 밀도, 패턴의 분포와 같은 다양한 파라메트릭 변수를 제어합니다. 이러한 변수들을 알고리즘적으로 조합함으로써, 하나의 디자인 언어를 유지하면서도 수천 개의 서로 다른 파사드 구성을 자동으로 생성할 수 있도록 했습니다.
생성된 각각의 이미지는 독립적인 디지털 자산으로 존재하지만, 모든 결과물은 동일한 공간적 규칙과 계산적 로직으로부터 파생됩니다. 따라서 본 프로젝트는 하나의 형태를 디자인하는 것을 넘어, 무수한 건축적 결과를 생산하는 시스템 자체를 디자인하는 가능성을 제안합니다.
DDP NFT Competition은 건축적 지능과 생성 규칙 자체가 하나의 지식재산이자 디지털 자산이 될 수 있음을 탐구하며, 건축이 물리적 환경을 넘어 새로운 형태의 Spatial IP로 확장될 수 있는 가능성을 제시합니다.

A generative facade system that extends architecture into a digital asset.
DDP Facade NFT is an experimental project that translates architectural thinking and generative principles into digital assets. By building a computational workflow that controls variations of geometry, curvature and perforation pattern, it proposes a generative architectural-asset model that automatically produces thousands of unique facade images within a single system.
The NFT ecosystem requires large numbers of unique digital assets. Instead of hand-producing individual images, this project explored a way to produce a vast digital collection by drawing on the design logic and generative principles of architecture.
The generative system, developed on Grasshopper, controls parametric variables such as panel curvature, perforation density, and the distribution of the pattern. By combining these variables algorithmically, thousands of different facade configurations can be generated automatically while maintaining a single design language.
Each generated image exists as an independent digital asset, yet all outcomes derive from the same spatial rules and computational logic. The project therefore proposes the possibility of designing not one form, but the system itself that produces countless architectural outcomes.
The DDP NFT Competition explores how architectural intelligence and the generative rule itself can become a form of intellectual property and digital asset, suggesting how architecture can extend beyond the physical environment into a new kind of Spatial IP.
