Rosetta Nova
Rosetta Nova

An Immersive Museum for Digital Civilization — architecture and media as one continuous environment.
Set against an age in which the boundary between digital and physical worlds grows ever blurrier, we proposed an immersive museum for preserving and experiencing a future digital civilization. It translates data and virtual information into spatial experience, exploring a new type of cultural space where architecture and media operate as one continuous environment.
Rosetta Nova began from a question: how should we preserve and experience the heritage of digital civilization? Digital information exists without physical form, yet human memory and culture are increasingly accumulated on immaterial data. The project proposes a new type of museum for collecting, interpreting and exhibiting this digital civilization.
Architecture works as the medium that translates digital experience into physical space. Visitors begin in a narrow, dark space and gradually move into open exhibition areas, experiencing an environment where light, media, material and data overlap. This route spatially reveals the process by which digital information is converted into physical reality.
The project organises diverse programs — interactive cubes, immersive media spaces, a data archive and a public courtyard — into one continuous experience. In particular, digital media permeates walls, structure, light and material, forming an environment inseparable from architecture.
Rosetta Nova proposes that the future museum can be more than a place that preserves physical artefacts — a platform for spatially experiencing and interpreting immaterial data and digital memory. Through it, architecture works as a new interface connecting digital civilization and human beings.
